We are all still alive and well as possible. Jinji is still very much with us, in fact the veterinarian can not believe how well she is doing.
Tammy (my wife) went to get needles and explained to the vet "jinji is eating, playing, drinking and appears fine". The vet about dropped and said that is not normal.
Well there is nothing normal about Jinji. When she was just a small pup, she got her head stepped on and she came out without a scratch.
Jinji is still receiving her special kidney diet and we added Pumpkin to her food for more vitamins and moisture. She is still getting 60ml or 2 ounces of sub-Q fluids every other day. That part is more stressful for the humans than the dog. the only other thing she gets is water. This is not normal water, it is called Kangen "magic" water. The water runs a ph level of 9.5 and a real high ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) which reduces oxidation and lowers toxin levels. The water has been known to assist in reducing the effects of Cancer and reversing the effects of Diabetes and other diseases. Do I have proof the water is working? the answer to that is no! Do I think something is happening out of the normal parameters? Absolutely! Jinji has proven that one to the point of we are going to be running another blood test soon to see what the BUN and Creatnine levels are.
Wish us luck!

I FEEL GOOD! (Music Please) :-)
I had another good day today, I am feeling pretty good! My Dad made me pose for these pictures yesterday. It was not fun until I got to chase the ball when we were done. :-)
I'm so cute!
I was posing but I got tired of sitting still. I wanted to talk to my cows.
The picture below is of my best friend Jessie. She is a ham/dog. Jessie is only 6 years old too.
Thank you for stopping by to see how I am doing. I feel much better now! Last week, I almost never got to see my Mommy and Daddy again. I was very sick with something called Chronic Renal Failure. I am sure there are still problems but My people are doing everything possible for me. I know I am loved by a lot of people. My daddy is much better at giving me my fluid treatments. He still does not like it (I don't like the needles, they hurt me) but he is much better and does not cry each time now. Don't tell him I said that, he might get embarrassed. :-)

it was a good day
My mommy and daddy had a hard time leaving me today to go to work. Mommy came home at noon to check on me.
I didn't eat my breakfast this morning, and I wouldn't eat my lunch either. When they got home from work I was happy to see them! I played outside with Jessie and the tennis ball . . . and daddy tricked me into eating my "special" food by pretending it was his food he was feeding me.
All in all, it was a great day because I played with my yellow lab "sister" Jessie, ate my dinner and had my hydration therapy without being poked eight times to get it in!
Tomorrow is another day . . . .

What a day (Fathers Day 2009)
I certainly hope today was the peak of the depression and tears for a while.
We (Tammy and I) had a difficult time giving Jinji her sub-dermal fluid treatments.
Right now, we are to give a 60ml treatment of fluids under the skin 3 times daily.
I am told that the injections act as a kidney stimulant making it easier for them to do their job. We do not know how much kidney function Jinji has at this point because the Kidney Ultrasound is not cheap.
Yes I know, some people think we have gone too far at this point but you must understand, Jinji is our baby and we need to do what we can as long as we can.
Hope to get some sleep tonight and not wake to a wet pillow again in the morning.

6/20/2009 home from the vet
Jinji came with us today after we gave her a treatment of hydrating fluids under the skin. I have not done this in years and was a bit nervous. We got it done, got the rundown on antibiotics, special diet and the antacid that she has to take for a while.
The last two days have been unbelievably stressful for me and Tammy. I think the tears have stopped flowing for now. we both woke this morning with wet pillows from the tears for our little friend Jinji.
Thank you for stopping and be sure to come back soon to check on us, Kelly, Tammy and Jinji. Our Yellow Lab "Jessie" was slightly stressed too, she knew that we were stressed and the Jinji was not around.
Tonight: we gave Jinji her Hydration Therapy (under the skin injection) she did GREAT!!! In fact I think she did better than I did.
More info tomorrow on the road we have taken and how Jinji is doing.
Thank You!!!
This means You for just stopping and reading.
Please comment, ask questions or feel free to give suggestions.
Any communicationis welcome ALWAYS!!!
